LE DANCERS: Below is info for any dancer who would like to do DANCER OF THE YEAR while at Fort Walton Beach, nationals. PLEASE READ and if you would like to sign up, I need your name to email by MONDAY, June 6th to Masquerade.
MASTER CLASSES are also available for those interested.

Dancer of the Year is an audition based competition that will take place during the first 2 days of our national competition. Dancers will now also be auditioning for KnP productions which will keep their information on file for future employment opportunities within the industry.
The Breakdown
-Dancers will have a short interview with the judges. Dancers are asked to bring a headshot (will stay on file with KnP Productions). The back of the headshot should be labeled with the following information:
Dancers Name/Age/Height/Parental Contact Information
Dancers will take 5 classes in 5 different disciplines.
Each dancer can score a maximum of 20 points per class. We will drop the lowest class score.
Immediately following the class sessions, the dancers will get to meet with the judging panel to discuss their performance in classes and will be given immediate feedback on how they can improve in auditions. Dancers will have the opportunity to ask questions to the judging panel. Studio Owners are welcome to attend these meetings. Parents will not be allowed. Age is determined as of January 1st.
A Top 5 Junior (11&Under) and a Top 5 Senior (12 & Over) will be announced. The finalists will receive the final 20 points of their score during finals night where they will perform a solo of their choice. The National Junior Dancer of the Year and National Senior Dancer of the Year will be announced during finals.
Cost is $105.00 per dancer.
