So today I found out that it costs 40.00 per solo to add "title" opportunity to the dance. HOWEVER, this "title" fee had to be done at registration (WHICH NO WHERE did it show to add it), so I called today, and they said I could not add it. I explained that NO WHERE on my registration did it show to "add" title fees, and that we were unaware of the added fee, as it was NOT on the registration page.

HIGH POINT, seems to be the award that is most like "TITLE" that we are used to. You have to have 2 solos and it is based on the average of the two solos, and highest is awarded HIGH POINT. You get recognition…………..
AND is not an additional fee.
NOW, I can find the owners of TOP on Thursday morning , and ask them if we have people who WANT to pay for title, and plead my case (as it was NOT on their registration and you only find the info if you click on a million places to see it).
OTHERWISE, you can just be content with HIGH POINT, which seems to be the real title. SO , let me know if you want to pay the additional 40.00 per solo, and I will see if we can get in, but when I called I was told "no" (But I also wasn't talking to the owners)
DANCE DOWN – Dance down is a added thing at TOP, where you can pay 5.00 (which goes to charity), and purchase the ticket at the TOP shop at the competition. THEN, when they have the 12 and under or 13 and over DANCE DOWNS, you go on stage and learn a combo and perform it. THIS IS OPEN TO ANY STUDENT competing ! So YOU must do this if YOU want to be part of it.
