Please be sure to make all necessary corrections, adjustments, additions to all costumes prior to competition.
Steam costumes so they look outstanding !
Be sure to have appropriate undergarments.
Polish tap shoes & clean jazz shoes.
Hats and hairpieces need to be completely secured !
Have the correct colored bobby pins too.
Be sure to have body glue if necessary.
NO NAILPOLISH (fingers or toes, including french).
Adults do make up on competition dancers
Organization is KEY to competing (Have yourself a check off list for EACH dance)
NO eating or drinking (exception is Water) in COSTUME.
****MASQUERADE always runs an hour to 1.5 hours ahead ! BE COMPLETELY READY 1 FULL hour ahead of time slotted. Parking can be a challenge so again plan accordingly. Being late causes unnecessary stress for dancers, teachers, line reps, parents….these dancers have worked hard & deserve to feel calm & prepared when taking the stage.
