Below is the upcoming remainder of our specialty schedule.
ANY student missing a rehearsal , needs to talk to LIZ directly. Don't text, don't email. You need to talk to me a minimum of a week prior. Don't ASSUME another student told me you were not going to be in attendance.
My teachers work very hard and give up their time (weekdays & weekends). Once Liz approves an absence, she informs the instructors. When students fail to attend without Liz approving, we have the right to pull the student from the dance OR pull the piece if attendance is problematic. It's simply not fair to the teacher OR other students who ARE in attendance.
We understand when a child has a fever or a flu, but the circumstances I am referring to, are NOT illness.
In the past, I have taken solos off the competition schedule for those who fail to meet at scheduled rehearsal times.
