Below are the notes from the Spacing/Costume rehearsal weekend . Please make sure you read and make necessary changes.
GENERAL NOTES :
Cut out ALL TAGS in ALL COSTUMES. / Nude undergarments & no bra straps are to show / Stoned tights should start at heel of shoe and extend up to under bottom (leotard base height) / NO NAIL POLISH on fingernails or toe nails !!! /
MONEY – Wear your caramel tights under jumpsuit
Coco Solo – Tighten gloves ( give to Liz, she can take in seam)
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST – RoseMary tack top seam (tighter), Hats need slit ,
Steam the white fabric pieces, Hat out of eyes , Practice with hats in class
MR SANDMAN – Eye mask pinned UNDER bun in back of head
RAYNA SOLO – Give Liz gloves to add bows / Wear old silver applique /
SORT OF – Add new stones / chest / & choker added
JEORGIA SOLO – Add brooch to neck / Alt sequence on back tulle (Pink/blk)
AVA J SOLO = Gloves & Fishnet tights
GET ME TO THE CHURCH – Lace Mitt gloves / Pearl earrings / Pearl short necklace
TIGER RAG – Add Ears (HE)
ELIZABETH SOLO- Borrow Gloves from "ITs Raining Men" / Added Sapphire earrings
STAR TAR – Caramel stoned tap shoes / Tilt hat to the right over the eyebrow / Ruffle of socks pulled down to top of shoes
WASH THAT MAN – Body glue gloves / Pin tights to bottoms / Tighten top straps
LOVE LINGERS ON = wear earrings
DEVON SOLO – Seamed fishnets and steam skirt
NATALIE SOLO – Tack down collar / Wear black earrings
MADDIE SOLO – Cut boots into stirrup /
NICEST KIDS – Petticoats must not show under skirt dress / Pin in place so it doesn't move while dancing
HOT HONEY RAG – Pin Back of costume to tights / Angle applique on L over ear on diagonal (1 inch above ear)
HARD KNOCK LIFE – Socks scrunched down / Headbands are 1 twist only & pat down / Add bobby pins to keep headbands in place (Pin securely – cannot fall off)
Dancers will be bringing home rags and some have buckets that they will be responsible to have for all competitions.
MAMA MIA – Cut pants so they are not dancing on hems / No choker / Headband below bun in back and directly on Hairline / Wear caramel tights under
DANCING MACHINE – Red earrings. / Adding sequin wrist bands (get from Meggie )
COVERGIRL – Bracelet added / Black earrings / Caramel fishnets & Tan shoes / Black hair applique over L ear , on a diagonal & 1 inch above ear
SOPHIE SOLO – Add red thinner socks (or even black )
LILY C SOLO – Steam tulle

Cut out all TAGS – NO HAIR PIECE

BIG SPENDER – Black applique on angle over L ear / Black earrings / Caramel tights / Black earrings / Black jazz shoes / New elastic on mitts /
Bridget add stones to back strap
MODERATION – Ellory leg seam taken in inside seam
ALL need to hem legs at ankles / They are NOT to bunch up at ankle
LANDSLIDE – Pin Straps to dress / No applique
BURNED OUT – For those with "baggy" sleeves, roll up just the edge and tack in place
No applique / Black earrings
TOMORROW – Use rhinestone barrettes on L side / First one starts @ center of the ear and angle back, 2nd one 1/2" behind it. Bobby pins under it to hold them in place.
BELOVED – Hair applique on L side (there is a leaf that marks the top, and a split that is on the bottom, that goes over the ear. / Pin it all dwon /
Tack down all leaves on the blouse so not are loose / Use gold thread (or ivory) to match the leaves . Basically no purple or bright colored thread.
EXACTLY HOW I FEEL – Pin jacket to bra underneath lapel / Cut out TAG from jacket / Rhinestone hoop earrings / Braids down if they have time.
MACAVITY – SOCKS UNDER PANTS & SHOES / Headband down through braids / black earrings
HEART OF COURAGE – Add AB earrings / tack back flap (iron each side & on bottom so it doesn't flap around.
GLASSWORKS- No black appliques / No hair piece
THIS PLACE IS A PRISON – Madison – shorten front
MOST – shorten & even gown in back/ No earrings / Steam or iron gowns / Gown hemline straight all the way around / Gowns must be mid-thigh (3 inches or so under booty)No excess showing underneath / Hem neatly
ALL – wear white sports bras
LEXI – Hal will send to fix / loops elastic closer to sleeves, add snaps down back , add belt buckles, cut straight across, longer booty short
NINA SOLO – New gold hairpiece / Add stones if you have them
THERE IS HOPE – Square knot belt (see liz )

HOT SHOWER – Zip up to neck line / Pull elastic so bottom of jacket is scrunched / Rhinestone hoop earrings
CAVES – NO EARRINGS / NO HAIRPIECE
GOBBLIDIGOOK (BREE) – Regular nude bra is to be worn under
