Updates for July from LE Dance! PLEASE Read – thanks

Hi Everyone!!

First, let me just say how much all of us have enjoyed having everyone back in class. It is so great to see all of our dancers! After much deliberation and review of the current COVID situations, not just in our state but nationally we have made the following decisions for the remainder of our summer session.
ALL CLASSES WILL MEET AT THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED TIMES THIS WEEK – we have received several inquiries about being on break this week due to the holiday weekend, but we will meet all classes as normal.

**ONE EXCEPTION and EFFECTIVE starting Monday, June29:
we will no longer be offering Modern VI on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm, It has been cancelled, and any seniors wanting to take Modern, may do so in the Wednesday Modern V class at 5:30pm.  AND Sr Jazz will now be meeting WITH the Jr Jazz class on Mondays from 6:30-7:30pm (no longer meeting on Wednesdays at 5:30pm)
The Fall/Spring Schedule will be available soon.
1) ZOOM classes will continue to be available to students through the end of our summer session. Students are welcome to attend in person or via zoom depending on the needs of your particular family or comfort level. If no students have joined the zoom session by 15 min into the scheduled class time teachers will disconnect from that class session.
2) We know that many of you have out of state travel plans in the coming weeks. In accordance with the current travel advisors we must request that if your child will be traveling to the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas or Utah that you abstain from sending them to class for 10 days after their return home.
3) This is also a reminder that if your child has been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 we ask that you keep your child home for 14 days or until they have received a negative COVID test.
4) Finally, remember that we must consider not just the safety and health of our OWN families, but that of all of our dancers families as well. If your child is not feeling well, has a temperature, cough, or other COVID like symptoms we ask that you notify the office and keep your child home from dance.
We hope very much that we will be able to continue in person classes, but as we have seen from multiple sports programs in our area that re-opened early – we still have to be very careful, therefore we must stress that it is better for your child to take dance via zoom if any of the situations in numbers 2-4 apply in order to ensure we keep LE Dance a safe and healthy place for everyone, and able to remain open.

5) If anyone has any questions about their current balance or summer tuition – Miss Tess will be in the office Tuesday evening from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM and will be happy to meet with you!
6) We must also ask that any parent entering the studio wear a mask.
Best wishes to all of you during this ever changing time, we look forward to the fall and hopefully returning to "normal" .
**Don't forget to mark your calendars for our LE DANCE COMPANY AUDITIONS on Wednesday July 29, and Thursday July 30. See website for details.
As always we are grateful for your support and for telling others about our awesome studio!
God Bless,
Ms. Liz & all The LE Dance Faculty
