We will be having OPEN HOUSE on Wednesday, Aug 19 from 10:00am-6:00pm and again on Thursday, Aug 20, from 5:00-7:00pm – You can come in and register, sign all forms (liability / COVID, registration) & receive info sheets.  **ALL WAIVERS and FORMS must be filled out in their entirety prior to taking a dance class. **

We are taking registration online at www.ledance.com / You cannot pay online , therefore an invoice will be mailed to your home address.  ONE invoice is mailed at the start of the year, then all monthly tuition is due by the 7th of each month.  Late fees do apply after the 7th of the month. 

The first 2 weeks of classes are designated to ensure students are appropriately placed in dance classes.  If a student needs to  move to a more appropriate class, you will be notified after the first two weeks.  We want our dancers to be successful and be trained with the utmost care. 

Ages 7 and under do not have to wear masks during class unless the parent requires their child to wear it during class. Parents who are bringing dancers to our COMBO level classes, please wear a mask if you enter the building to bring your dancer.  We will instruct our combo dancers, how to enter, where to hang bags, and how to put on and off shoes and return to bags.  We will also take the COMBO dancers outside to the front porch area for pick up AFTER their classes. 

Students ages 8 and older are required to wear masks during their dance classes. 

Students will need their own facial mask covering . 

**Any student exposed to COVID needs to stay at home and quarantine for 2 weeks (you may take class via ZOOM should this happen – Please be reminded you must request ZOOM for these 2 weeks by emailing LIZ, and she will notify teachers.  ZOOM will not be open unless it is requested by noon the days needed. ) 

Students who have been exposed or contracted COVID must notify LE DANCE in accordance with CDC guidelines.  

Students who are not feeling well, or have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, body aches or other COVID symptoms (see list on CDC website),  must stay home.  

 

Parents needing to speak to someone in the office, may email us or call for an appointment (liz@ledance.com OR 913-897-5551) Our office staff will do our best to respond in a timely manner. 

We ask that you discuss with your older dancers the importance of not congregating without a mask on at ANYTIME while in or outside the studio. We want our studio to remain open & it requires everyone to be responsible / respectful of one another.  

While disinfecting sprays and sanitizers will be available for student use, we would encourage our students to bring their own sanitizers in their dance bags for personal use. 

Our water fountain cannot be used during the pandemic.  WITH THAT SAID, your dancer may bring a water bottle (non sweating) if desired and can use it during their drink break or at changing of shoes.  Dancers may fill their water bottles from the tap if they run out of water.

Our student lounge will remain closed.  Dancers are to bring their sanitized dance bags into their designated studio.  Dance bags should contain, dance shoes for all classes, socks, appropriate dance wear, hair bands/clips ,phone, water bottle / snacks if needed.  Students will not be allowed to share snacks or drinks.  We ask that this is reinforced by parents often.  

If you have any shoes your dancer has grown out of , please put them in a ziploc bag, with your name and the amount of money you'd like to sell your shoes for & place in our shoe bins.  IF your shoe sells to someone, Miss Tess will keep a log and credit your account.  THIS IS THE TIME to put those shoes in the bin !  Start of the year ! As always, our greatest advertisement is WORD OF MOUTH.  We receive the majority of our new students from referrals !  We appreciate your support and you receive a one time 10.00 credit for any NEW student who joins and says you referred them.   We are a small business, and appreciate your patronage and referrals !
