So the votes were tallied and by a LARGE percentage we will be going to the Masquerade National Dance Competition in Fort Walton Beach, FL from June 25-July 1 . ( Coming in on Saturday, June 25 and departing on Saturday, July 2. ) Some of you will not need to be in Fort Walton until June 28, but I will not know all that info until I hear back from the Masquerade Director.
I spoke with the Masquerade Director and she is working on getting a GROUP CODE for those wishing to stay at WATERSCAPE, the condos that Masquerade uses for their nationals. These Condos are awesome and great for families, and /or a group of moms and kids ! The condos are right on the beach and across from where we perform.
There is also a new HOLIDAY INN right on the beach as well !!! It is the "hotel" recommended for our nationals trip: http://www.ihg.com/holidayinnresorts/hotels/us/en/fort-walton-beach/fwbbh/hoteldetail
WE ask that you are either in WATERSCAPE or HOLIDAY INN. IT is MUCH easier if we are all in one/two places and not spread all over the place. This will help us when we have rehearsals, or need to meet ,etc………
SO we will have a GROUP CODE sent to us next week that will be used for Masquerade nationals.
I suggest at this time to figure out who will be in your party (family members OR other moms & kids)
