Below you will find the website regarding which style of clogging shoe you will need by the start of the dance year in August.  

Everyone will be required to purchase the signature split sole clogging shoe in WHITE.  Yes, white.  Unlike normal dance shoes that come in tan and black, clogging shoes come in white and black.  White is usually preferred in order to make the dancers' feet stick out and display the precision involved with clogging footwork.  

The only width available in that style is medium and you will need to have the buck style taps installed.

In order to find the proper fit for your dancer, follow these guidelines as provided by the Carl's Clogging website: 

Women 1/2 size larger than street shoe size.

Men 1 1/2 – 2 sizes larger than street shoe size.

Another great investment for your child's clogging shoes is a roll of silver duct tape.  Because of the intensity of clogging, slipping may occur and tape is put on the bottom of the taps in order to help prevent or minimize this.
