Everyone is different so please look for your dancer's name to ensure that when the costume is put on, it is correct. Everything is subject to change.
Super Important info (please read all):
-Everyone will have their white shirts tucked in.
-If your dancer has a tie that is untied, it is suggested that you pin the tie to the sweater prior to competition to make quick changes easier
-If their tie is tied (loose or tight), this needs to be pre-tied before competition so it is easier to slip on and adjust if a quick change is necessary. Please pin the bottom of the tie to the shirt so it does not flop around during the dance. If your child has a vest or a v-neck sweater (the one without buttons) as well as a tied tie, the tie will be tucked into the sweater.
-If you have not already purchased a white long-sleeve shirt please do so. Long sleeved, straight pointed collar.
-If the tie is tied tight, you must button the top button. Everyone else unbutton the top button only.
-All sweaters with buttons please unbutton the sweater
-We discovered during rehearsal that the skirts are difficult to move in. Attached is a photo of what needs to be done on both side seams of the skirt in order to allow for better movement. Please cut up both side seams 3.5-4 inches from the bottom and sew the edges back to prevent raveling (If you cannot sew, do not have a sewing machine, or are an extreme novice, it is recommended to use a professional OR Miss Margaret to complete this task seeing as cutting up the seams can case raveling to occur) Underneath the skirt does not need to look beautiful, but needs to be functional.
–Everyone must wear their black booty shorts underneath the shorts that are attached to the skirt seeing as they are baggy on some of the students.
